Kim’s journey began in West Virginia, where she won the title of Miss West Virginia and represented the mountain in the Miss America Pageant in 1992. Kim’s leadership endeavors were honored by the Stevie Awards for Women in Business with awards for Female Executive of the Year, Female Innovator of the Year, Women Helping Women and PR Campaign of the Year.
A graduate of West Virginia University and currently a member of the College of Creative Arts Visiting Board, Kim is also a published author of the children’s book The Snapdragon Princess and has been featured in hundreds of articles from the TV Guide to the New York Times. She’s most proud of her two boys, Chase, 15, and Zach, 12, who currently run their own non-profit organization, Eco Brothers, Inc., helping the planet and its people.
